Data Management Team Lead

Location: Adelaide, Australia. Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance at baseline, NV1 or NV2 level. Hybrid work from home/office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Data Management professionals.
• Oversee document control, records management, Safe Hand activities, configuration tracking and software release support.
• Implement and continuously improve Data Management frameworks, processes, governance, plans and work instructions.
• Partner with project and engineering teams to control, manage and distribute project information and deliverables compliantly.
• Provide expertise on information governance, security classifications, export controls and commercial-in-confidence information.
• Support resource planning, service delivery improvements, stakeholder engagement and a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Extensive Data Management experience in Defence, engineering or another highly regulated industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading Data Management teams and delivering services across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of document control, records management, information governance and secure data handling.
• Experience managing classified, export-controlled, commercially sensitive and intellectual-property-restricted information.
• Experience implementing Data Management frameworks, workflows and process improvements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
• Experience using enterprise information management and document control systems.
• Australian citizenship is required, together with an existing or obtainable Australian Defence Security Clearance at baseline/NV1/NV2 level. Past and present nationality and citizenship information may be requested for export-control eligibility, including ITAR.
