Interaction Designer (AI)

What you will do

• Design intuitive, engaging and accessible digital experiences across platforms, devices and touchpoints.
• Translate user needs, business requirements and technical considerations into concepts, user flows, wireframes, information architectures, high-fidelity interfaces and interactive prototypes.
• Support the end-to-end design process from discovery and concept development through detailed design and implementation.
• Conduct or support user research, analyse findings, and develop and test prototypes to validate and refine solutions.
• Explore interaction patterns and design approaches using Generative AI, conversational interfaces, voice and mixed reality.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, data scientists, strategists and business stakeholders in multidisciplinary agile teams; present and explain design decisions and contribute to design reviews.

Requirements

• Qualification in Interaction Design, Product Design, UX/UI Design or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating interaction design, UI/UX design and understanding of service design principles. Applications without a relevant portfolio will not be considered.
• Practical experience using Figma for wireframes, interface designs and interactive prototypes.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with emerging Generative AI design tools.
• Solid understanding of human-centred design, interaction design, user experience principles and rapid prototyping.
• Experience contributing to the design of digital products, services or user experiences.
• Strong visual communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain design decisions to different audiences.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including designers, developers, technical specialists and business stakeholders.
• User-focused and client-oriented approach, with an understanding of how design delivers business value; ability to give, receive and incorporate constructive feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience in agile product development from early-stage concepts through implementation.
• Experience supporting user research, usability testing and synthesis of research findings.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Experience with Generative AI, conversational AI, voice interfaces or mixed reality.
• Ability to develop and communicate conceptual models at user-experience and systems levels.
• Knowledge of Visual Design, Content Design, Service Design or Business Design, and ability to connect design solutions with measurable business value.
• Interest in innovation, emerging technologies and new approaches to digital interaction.
