Overall Project Manager for New Installations (M/F/D)

Location: Marchtrenk, Austria. International travel of up to 30% of working time is required.

Minimum gross basic salary: €64,830 per year based on full-time employment; higher salary possible depending on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Take overall responsibility for automated logistics and distribution center projects from sales handover through final client acceptance.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams and integrate mechanical engineering, software/IT, control systems, and process specialists.
• Act as the communication hub between clients, specialist teams, suppliers, and construction teams.
• Control project performance, deadlines, quality, functionality, costs, schedules, specifications, and changes.
• Coordinate engineering, assembly, commissioning, trial runs, testing, stakeholder management, and risk management.
• Monitor suppliers and ensure successful technical, scheduling, and economic project results.

Requirements

• Strong technical education from an HTL, FH, or university in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, IT, or a related field.
• Several years of experience managing complex large-scale projects in plant or mechanical engineering, intralogistics, software development/IT, digitalisation, or comparable technology-driven environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, results orientation, endurance, initiative, and strong execution skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally for up to 30% of working time.
