What you will do

• Execute contract projects under supervision and document development and experimental results.
• Assist with chemical process technology development, process evaluation, and preparation of laboratory and kilo-scale materials.
• Provide technical support during pilot and commercial manufacturing scale-up.
• Prepare process descriptions, procedures, flow diagrams, summaries, mass balances, throughput analyses, and process economics.
• Write technical, validation, and process reports; present results and communicate significant events or deviations.
• Prepare and review batch sheets, SOPs, training materials, and other instructions in accordance with GMP requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in a scientific laboratory.
• Strong laboratory skills and working knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry.
• Ability to learn new processes, apply broad technical knowledge, solve specific problems, and demonstrate technical competency.
• Report writing, computer literacy, verbal communication, presentation, and planning skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Suite applications is required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen; occupational health screening may also be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for local travel, if necessary.
