Audit Manager (IFRS/ISA)

What you will do

• Lead and manage audit engagements for diverse local and international clients from planning through completion.
• Review audit working papers, key judgements, risk assessments, audit conclusions, and statutory financial statements prepared under IFRS.
• Identify audit and business risks, develop appropriate audit responses, and ensure compliance with ISAs and firm quality procedures.
• Manage engagement budgets, deadlines, resources, and overall performance while liaising with Senior Managers and Partners.
• Act as a senior client contact and develop professional relationships with management and other stakeholders.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop audit associates and senior associates while contributing to quality, efficiency, technology, and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant external audit experience, including managing engagements from planning through completion.
• Strong experience supervising, reviewing, and developing junior and senior audit team members.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Ability to identify and resolve complex audit and accounting matters and escalate significant issues appropriately.
• Strong client management and interpersonal skills, with confidence dealing directly with senior client personnel.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, teams, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the Cyprus business environment and regulatory framework is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
