Lead Consultant / Advisory Manager - Data & AI (AI)

What you will do

• Lead, manage, coach, hire, onboard, and develop an Advisory team of 8–10 consultants and advisors.
• Define methodologies, toolkits, and quality standards for Data & AI strategy, governance, and change management.
• Staff and steer multiple concurrent engagements while balancing utilization, delivery quality, and individual development.
• Advise C-level leaders on AI adoption, regulation including the EU AI Act, ROI, and enterprise Data & AI strategy.
• Own advisory engagements end to end, including scope, budget, timeline, client satisfaction, roadmaps, rollout, and adoption.
• Develop new AI advisory services, lead proposals and pitches, grow client accounts, and represent the practice through talks and thought leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of management consulting experience, including at least 3 years as a manager or engagement manager at a Big Four, Tier 1 strategy consulting firm, or comparable advisory firm.
• Proven experience directly managing and developing consultants, ideally 5+ people, including hiring, performance management, and coaching.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent engagements with accountability for scope, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Experience advising C-level leaders and steering board-level discussions.
• Deep and current understanding of Data & GenAI and the ability to translate emerging capabilities into measurable business value.
• Practical expertise in data governance, AI governance, AI change management, AI ethics, and regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act and GDPR in enterprise settings.
• Track record of winning work through proposals, pitches, and account growth, ideally against revenue targets.
• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences.
• Fluent English and Hungarian required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning, NLP, or GenAI tools.
• Experience overseeing complex enterprise IT or data platform implementation programs, ideally in large corporate environments.
• Experience building or scaling a consulting practice or new service line.
• Experience working with international clients and cross-border teams.
