Senior Android Developer (AdTech SDKs)

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain native Android advertising SDKs used in production.
• Implement SDK features supporting banner and video advertising, SSP communication, beacon and pixel tracking, timeout handling, and publisher integrations.
• Design and support SDK architecture, packaging, versioning, dependency handling, and release processes.
• Maintain Maven and Gradle distribution pipelines and participate in release planning, validation, and quality assurance.
• Create automated and device-based testing solutions and improve SDK stability, performance, backward compatibility, and release quality.
• Investigate defects and complex integration issues, collaborate with distributed teams, and support external publishers during integration and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial Android development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and Java.
• Proven experience developing native Android SDKs or libraries, with a strong understanding of Android SDK architecture and lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Maven Central, JitPack, Gradle plugins, SDK packaging, distribution, versioning, release management, and dependency handling.
• Practical experience with automated testing and device-based testing.
• Strong focus on software quality and production reliability, including experience in release-critical environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex integration and compatibility issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team environment.
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted testing approaches and test coverage optimization.
• Understanding of mobile advertising technologies, AdTech ecosystems, SSP platforms, and ad servers.
• Knowledge of banner and video advertising mechanics, tracking beacons, and pixel-based analytics.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source SDKs.
• Experience supporting third-party publisher integrations.
