Manager, Compliance

Location: Los Angeles, New York, or San Francisco; office work is expected 4+ days per week under hirify.global’s “default together” policy.

Base salary: $133,000–$235,000 annually, depending on U.S. pay zone; eligible for RSUs.

What you will do

• Lead compliance efforts covering anti-bribery and anti-corruption, political contributions, lobbying, charitable donations, antitrust, and fair competition.
• Develop and oversee business-records retention, employee communications, policy governance, and related compliance controls.
• Own hirify.global’s Code of Conduct and Sales Code of Conduct and advise on alignment with company values and applicable laws.
• Conduct risk assessments, apply lessons learned, and lead continuous improvement of the compliance program.
• Oversee trade, sanctions, export controls, cross-border compliance, and third-party risk management programs.
• Partner with Legal, Commercial Legal, Sales, Content, Partnerships, and Philanthropy; support litigation and investigations and deliver compliance training and communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or related corporate risk functions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ABAC, antitrust, political law, records retention, and corporate ethics.
• Familiarity with established compliance frameworks, including the U.S. Department of Justice’s Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs.

Nice to have

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Familiarity with government official screening tools, employee disclosure systems, and learning management systems.
• Experience advising Sales, Legal, or Philanthropy functions in a technology or media company.
• A proactive and practical approach to compliance in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
