TL;DR

QA Automation Engineer (Monitoring): Ensuring the reliability and performance of a business-critical PaaS by supporting existing E2E tests and creating new ones in Python. Focus on enhancing the CI pipeline and improving the stability and performance of tests.

Location: This role requires on-site presence at our office 4 days a week to support effective collaboration and teamwork.

What you will do

• Support and enhance existing end-to-end (E2E) tests.
• Collaborate with development and OPS teams to gather requirements for test automation.
• Develop new end-to-end automation tests using Python.
• Enhance the continuous integration pipeline and support existing CI tools.
• Identify bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.

Requirements

• BA in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of QA automation experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git and Git CI tools (like GitLab Pipelines).
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Experience with the monitoring domain and SaaS approaches (TSDB, metrics, Prometheus-like solutions).
