What you will do
- Write, maintain, and execute manual test cases in TestRail for new features, bug fixes, and regressions.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- Collaborate with developers to understand technical implementations and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Assist in maintaining and running existing API automation tests using Python and Pytest.
- Write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation as needed.
- Track issues and test progress in Jira with clear, accurate reporting.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in Manual QA or similar technical role.
- Strong skills in manual functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
- Familiarity with TestRail, Postman, Jira, Datadog, Sentry, Browser DevTools, and writing SQL queries.
- Interest or exposure to API test automation using Python (or other OOP languages).
- Effective debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in an Agile development environment.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience writing or maintaining API automation tests.
- Experience contributing to a test automation framework.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS.
