Sr. Automation Tester (AI)

Location: Milan, Italy; presence in the Milan office required 4 days per week

hirify.global's Core Diagnostics organization develops AlinIQ informatics products for medical diagnostics.

What you will do

• Design, develop, execute, review, and report automated software testing for server, web, cloud, containerized, and networked informatics products.
• Design and automate test cases for test-driven development and continuous testing, including black-box and white-box testing.
• Assess application architecture, hosting infrastructure, dependency interactions, and feature workflows to identify integration risks.
• Analyze test adequacy, coverage, boundary conditions, regression results, and test execution outcomes; present findings to developers and stakeholders.
• Provide testing documentation aligned with regulatory, security, and privacy standards.
• Perform peer reviews, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and root cause analysis while collaborating with software engineers, testers, business analysts, and cybersecurity specialists in Agile Scrum teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of software development or test automation experience.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle processes and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proficiency in SQL or another relational database management system.
• Fluent English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and communicate and collaborate effectively within a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with BrowserStack and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with JIRA and the Atlassian suite.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or GitHub.
• Familiarity with diagnostic medical device design.
• Experience managing requirements and test cases.
• Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum ceremonies.
• Experience using AI tools for automation testing.
