Jr. Hardware Engineer

hirify.global is hiring for a hardware engineering role supporting prototype testing and product development.

What you will do

• Set up and conduct mechanical and electrical tests on prototypes under lead-engineer direction.
• Monitor experiments, collect accurate raw data, and prepare concise test reports.
• Fabricate, assemble, and modify test fixtures, sub-assemblies, and prototype hardware.
• Maintain laboratory inventory, order consumables and parts, and support engineering shipping and receiving.
• Diagnose prototype equipment malfunctions, resolve technical issues, or escalate when required.
• Perform prototype rework or coordinate repairs through external third parties.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced engineering or testing laboratory environment.
• Degree in Electrical Technology with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with standard laboratory tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calipers.
• Basic proficiency with Excel, Word, or CAD systems such as Creo.
• Strong analytical thinking, excellent written and verbal communication, and collaborative teamwork skills.
