Research Assistant Liu (Materials Engineering)

Location: hirify.global Vancouver Campus, Vancouver, BC, Canada; onsite, full-time position.

Salary: CAD 31.06–33.86 per hour.

What you will do

• Conduct laboratory research on antimony recovery from a lead-zinc concentrate.
• Work independently and report to Dr. Wenying Liu.
• Ensure research data is accurate and minimize errors in laboratory work.
• May supervise graduate, undergraduate, or co-op students.

Requirements

• Completion of a relevant technical program or university degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives that conflict with one’s own.
• Commitment to developing awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Nice to have

• MASc in Materials Engineering.
