Senior Principal Program Manager – Product Development (Fintech)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; hybrid model

SimCorp is a 3,000-person fintech building an investment management platform, with Product Development comprising around 1,600 people.

What you will do

• Own delivery of cross-functional Product Development programs and projects, including outcomes, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Define and drive strategic program management standards, tools, governance, and ways of working.
• Coach colleagues leading programs and projects across Product Development.
• Coordinate dependencies across Product Management, Platform, and Application Engineering to keep delivery aligned with strategic goals.
• Partner with Change & Organizational Development on changes to ways of working and organizational behavior.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally including experience in a technology or product development organization.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple workstreams and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with structured program management, including governance, planning, and risk management, as well as delivery-focused project execution.
• Experience building or improving program management practices, governance, and ways of working used by teams and senior leaders.
• Familiarity with engineering tooling environments and coordinating technical migrations or platform implementations without being the technical lead.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, including producing concise executive materials and communicating confidently with senior leadership.
• Direct, structured, and collaborative working style with the ability to build alignment and address difficult issues.
• Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance-related programs such as GDPR, RoPA, or ERM.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
