Team Leader Linux System Administrator

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of three Linux system administrators.
• Organize day-to-day tasks, promote collaboration, and support professional growth.
• Improve infrastructure, system performance, security, documentation, procedures, and training.
• Define project goals, timelines, and deliverables with the CTO.
• Execute Linux system administration projects, track milestones, and report progress to the CTO.
• Remain hands-on in daily operations and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure with a proactive and self-learning approach.
• Willingness to take on leadership responsibilities and develop management skills.
• Hands-on involvement in day-to-day system administration alongside leadership duties.
• Knowledge of MySQL, MariaDB, Galera, SQLite, PostgreSQL, LDAP, Nginx, Apache, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, the KLE stack, Docker, KVM, OpenStack, SaltStack, Systemd, Rsyslog, Logrotate, HAProxy, Postfix, Dovecot, PowerDNS, BIND, Subversion, Git, VRRP, bonding, iptables, ipset, Fail2ban, WireGuard, pfSense, OpenVPN, SNMP, Wireshark, FreeRADIUS, Redis, Memcache, Grafana, Matrix, OpenVAS, and VMware.
• Strong scripting and programming proficiency in PHP and Python.
