AI Technical Lead

Location: Remote, open only to candidates currently residing in the United States who are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Occasional travel is required for all-team meetings and client workshops.

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 annual base salary, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise AI roadmapping, discovery, consulting, and client alignment from use-case definition through delivery.
• Design and build AI solutions involving model selection, LLM APIs, prompt and agent design, MCP servers, and secure connections to client data and schemas.
• Integrate AI capabilities with Quickbase, Mendix, and custom web applications while owning architecture and technical decisions.
• Modernize delivery methods by applying AI to requirements, data mapping, code generation, testing, and documentation, and measure repeatable results.
• Build internal Claude–Quickbase MCP capabilities and develop organizational depth in RapidMiner AI Studio and AI Graph.
• Enable developers, project managers, and leadership through workshops, coaching, mentoring, documentation, and AI-assisted development practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development or technical consulting experience, including 1+ years of hands-on AI solution delivery.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Google, including prompt design, tool use, and agent patterns.
• Experience building or integrating MCP servers and connecting AI to enterprise data sources, APIs, and database schemas.
• Proficiency in at least one AI integration language, such as Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with data science, analytics, or AI modeling platforms; similar tools are acceptable, with willingness to build expertise in RapidMiner AI Studio and AI Graph.
• Demonstrated experience leading client engagements from discovery through delivery in a consulting environment.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training, workshops, or enablement programs.
• Working knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, security practices, and human-in-the-loop evaluation.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, plus strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-code platforms, especially Quickbase or Mendix.
