Lead AI Enablement Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Establish AI-first workflows for coding, debugging, testing, planning, design, documentation, code reviews, and production investigation.
• Build reusable agent instructions, prompt frameworks, repository context, integrations, examples, and developer tooling.
• Integrate AI workflows with CI/CD, testing, observability, release readiness, developer experience, and agent orchestration.
• Design validation loops covering testing, quality controls, security reviews, and release processes.
• Enable adoption through demonstrations, documentation, workshops, office hours, pairing, coaching, and mentoring.
• Develop AI assistants, retrieval systems, workflow automation, governance models, access controls, and metrics for productivity, quality, cost, adoption, and delivery.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience preferred; exceptional senior-level candidates may be considered.
• Experience in developer productivity, platform engineering, developer experience, internal tooling, engineering effectiveness, or AI enablement.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants, autonomous agents, LLM APIs, agent workflows, or similar technologies.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and experience creating reusable workflows, automations, integrations, reference implementations, evaluation patterns, and developer tooling.
• Practical understanding of software planning, implementation, testing, deployment, code reviews, production operations, and documentation.
• Strong judgment regarding AI quality, validation, security, privacy, governance, operational risk, and cost management.
• Ability to drive change through coaching, documentation, workshops, office hours, mentoring, and enablement programs.
• Pragmatic AI-first mindset focused on measurable business and engineering outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI coding assistants, agent-driven development tools, LLM platforms and APIs, agent frameworks, tool calling, orchestration, prompt engineering, and workflow automation.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Go, C#, or .NET.
• Experience with RAG, semantic search, embeddings, vector databases, and knowledge retrieval systems.
• Experience with Git-based development, CI/CD, test automation, code review workflows, cloud platforms, containers, sandboxed execution, observability, evaluation frameworks, and cost management.
• Experience with sandboxed or cloud-based agent execution, parallel agent workflows, and human-in-the-loop orchestration.
• Experience with AI-powered SaaS features, employee assistants, knowledge agents, collaboration-platform integrations, legacy modernization, transactional industries, compliance-focused development, or regulated environments.
