Associate Instructional Designer (ELA/SLA)

Location: Fully remote, based in the United States; candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Salary: $50,000–$55,000 annually.

What you will do

• Support program planning, curriculum mapping, proof-of-concept development, prototyping, and product builds.
• Design, storyboard, and develop digital curriculum assets including videos, eBooks, interactives, simulations, games, and virtual labs.
• Review manuscripts and contribute to alpha and beta builds, digital launches, templates, trackers, and content development guidelines.
• Conduct user testing, accessibility work, metadata tagging, concept mapping, digital editing, and vendor quality assurance.
• Collaborate with content, product management, UX, creative media, vendors, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical bugs and define enhancements.
• Maintain build documentation and meet intermediate and final project schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in digital content development involving teaching and learning materials.
• Experience with authoring tools, learning management systems, and content management systems.
• Ability to create and visualize animated and interactive content.
• Bilingual ability is required.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Spanish language skills.
• Previous K-5 teaching experience.
