3D Point Cloud Map Cleaning Internship (LiDAR)

Location: Toulouse, France; hybrid schedule with 2 days of remote work per week

Compensation: €1,200 gross per month, plus restaurant tickets and CSE benefits.

hirify.global develops Level 4 autonomous vehicle technology for passenger transport, towing, logistics, airports, and industrial sites, using LiDAR, cameras, and radar.

What you will do

• Investigate 3D perception approaches including semantic segmentation, object detection, and classification.
• Select relevant components and combine them into an effective data-processing pipeline.
• Integrate the pipeline into internal 3D visualization software.
• Visualize and use perception results to clean dense 3D point-cloud maps.
• Collaborate with the Tools and Perception teams on 3D perception, point-cloud processing, and software development.

Requirements

• Student in computer science.
• Object-oriented programming skills in Python or C++.
• Knowledge of deep learning and basic UI/UX concepts.
• English and French language skills required.
• Team spirit, autonomy, curiosity, motivation, and interest in innovative transportation technologies.
