Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Observability)

Location: Argentina, Mexico, or Brazil. Currently fully remote, with a future transition to a hybrid setup.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting systems using OpenTelemetry standards.
• Design actionable alerts and dashboards, and define and track SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Enable engineering teams to instrument services and gain clear production visibility.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortems to identify root causes.
• Automate observability setup and configuration with Terraform, Helm, and Go, Python, or Bash.
• Collaborate with developers, App Performance, and Operations to improve platform reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SRE experience, with the majority focused on building an observability platform.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and logging and tracing tools.
• Solid experience with GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with Terraform and Helm.
• Solid scripting or programming skills in Go, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with on-call, incident response, and post-mortem processes.
• Equivalent competencies in the listed areas may also be considered.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with APM tools, PagerDuty or similar tools, and implementing SLOs in production.
