Business System Analyst Middle+ (Core Banking Systems)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and translate finance, business, and risk requirements into technical specifications for financial transaction processing.
• Design and document end-to-end transaction flows across processing and accounting systems.
• Collaborate with software engineering and QA teams on task breakdowns, feature implementation, and testing.
• Maintain data integrity and system accuracy through reconciliation and SQL-based discrepancy analysis.
• Prepare accurate data extracts to support financial audits.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an analytical or support role within finance, fintech, or banking.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and their application to financial transactions in software systems.
• Strong SQL proficiency for data analysis, validation, and verification.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, MS Excel, and Google Docs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience configuring or testing accounting models and accounting mapping.
• Experience integrating processing and accounting systems.
• Familiarity with financial products for individuals and legal entities, including credit cards, cash loans, and ATM operations.
