Systems Analyst (Banking)

Location: Remote within the Russian Federation; full-time, 8 hours per day.

What you will do

• Analyze, decompose, document, and improve banking business processes, including participant roles, information flows, triggers, and dependencies.
• Manage project, RFC, and change request lifecycles, identifying requirements that require coordination with related bank departments.
• Analyze application architecture, modules, operations, entities, configurations, integrations, and information exchange principles.
• Prepare project documentation, requirements, process models, mockups, prototypes, and usability materials.
• Support testing activities, including test cases, checklists, API testing, load-testing scenarios, and test plans.

Requirements

• Higher education is required; higher technical education is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of banking fundamentals, business products, basic accounting principles, regulatory frameworks, and law enforcement practice.
• Ability to independently select methods and tools for process improvement; understanding of related process intersections, information flows, triggers, and dependencies.
• Experience with project, RFC, and change request lifecycles, including their differences; experience with Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
• Knowledge of application architecture, modules, operations, entities, and related subject areas; system configuration skills are an advantage.
• Experience with BPMN, UML, ARIS, and process modeling tools including Camunda Modeler, Bizagi, MS Visio, Drawio, and plugins.
• Experience with requirements management tools including Confluence, Enterprise Architect, and Visual Paradigm.
• Experience independently preparing project documentation, mockups, and prototypes using tools such as MS Visio, AxureRP, Balsamiq Mockups, or Figma; understanding of usability.
• Ability to read and understand program code; knowledge of programming fundamentals, data structures, workflows, testing theory, testing types, and terminology.
• Knowledge of test management tools and test cases, including checklists and test cases; TestRail understanding is required. Test plans and methodologies are an advantage.
• Knowledge of API testing theory and tools including TestRail, Swagger, and Postman.
• Understanding of load-testing purposes and methods; ability to create a standard load-testing scenario is an advantage.
• Knowledge of information exchange design, integration processes, TCP/IP, the OSI model, APIs, design patterns, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of data analysis methods, data models, database prototyping, and simple SQL and NoSQL queries; experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of basic operating principles for network technologies, protocols, and software and hardware.

Nice to have

• Experience developing new business processes.
• Experience identifying requirements requiring approval or development in related bank departments; RP Competency for responsible technology work on multi-system tasks.
• System configuration skills, experience preparing test plans and methodologies, and ability to create standard load-testing scenarios.
• Understanding of SOA, MSA, EDA, DDA, and related architectural approaches.
• Understanding of deployment, updating, and horizontal and vertical scaling of technical resources.
