Monitoring Operations Manager (AML/KYC)

What you will do

• Lead Bermuda’s ongoing client monitoring and review programme, including periodic reviews, client refreshes, and risk assessments.
• Own high-risk and complex cases involving trigger events, risk profile changes, and client lifecycle decisions.
• Manage sanctions, PEP, and adverse media reviews, including expert guidance and escalations.
• Oversee transaction monitoring investigations, evidence gathering, risk identification, resolution, and reporting.
• Provide leadership across monitoring operations by tracking performance, service levels, quality standards, and resourcing.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and regulators on audits, inspections, control enhancements, reporting, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in ongoing monitoring, periodic reviews, KYC, AML, or CDD within a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of sanctions, PEP, adverse media, trigger events, client risk assessment, and risk-based review requirements.
• Experience providing technical oversight, quality review, workflow management, and escalation support.
