Compliance Analyst (1 Year Contract)

Location: Remote-first, with the role available in Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, or the United Arab Emirates; the arrangement may vary depending on the role and team.

What you will do

• Investigate geofencing alerts and suspicious login patterns.
• Analyze case information, IP addresses, and user activity to assess potential risks.
• Conduct case reviews, issue Requests for Information, and follow up as needed.
• Make evidence-based block or unblock decisions according to internal SOPs.
• Document findings, escalate complex cases, and meet established SLAs.

Requirements

• Experience in investigations, fraud, financial crime, compliance, or risk operations.
• Strong analytical skills, investigative thinking, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
• Ability to assess cases using multiple information sources.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage case volumes in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, e-commerce, banking, payments, or digital assets.
• Familiarity with IP analysis, geolocation, or suspicious account or user activity.
• Experience with case management or investigation tools.
