Senior Manager, Security - Detection & Incident Response

What you will do

• Lead and manage the MSSP Security Operations Center for detection, analysis, containment, remediation, and reporting of global security incidents.
• Build and maintain the security detection and incident response roadmap, including KPIs, KRIs, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct technical incident investigations and analyze computer-based evidence, intrusion artifacts, and indicators of compromise.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, testing, training, and communication for internal and external teams.
• Recommend security-tool tuning based on threat intelligence, reputation data, events, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, engineering, legal, privacy, and vendor teams to identify root causes, resolve incidents, and reduce future impact.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant information security experience.
• Ability to translate technical incidents into business terms.
• Experience creating and presenting technical strategies and solution recommendations.
• Thorough understanding of Security Operations Center, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, and enterprise digital forensics concepts, including investigation techniques, acquisition, chain of custody, evidence preservation, validation, and sterilization.
• Experience developing automated case management systems.
• Hands-on experience developing incident response programs with Legal and the Chief Privacy Officer.
• Experience working in, leading, or fostering an agile environment for effective collaboration.
• Experience operating as an incident controller and performing timely escalations.
