Software Developer in Test (QA Automation)

Location: Fully remote from Georgia

What you will do

• Analyze product designs and requirements and translate them into detailed, methodical testing strategies.
• Develop functional automation tests from prepared test cases.
• Develop performance, load, and stress tests.
• Design and improve functional and load-testing frameworks.
• Document, report, and track software defects in Jira.
• Work with development leads to extend and enhance Voice Application products before production deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional QA experience in a complex software development environment.
• Experience writing automated tests with Python and C.
• Experience working with legacy code and testing server applications.
• Base knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Base knowledge of network technology, including tcpdump, Wireshark, and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience testing in Linux.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lua.
• Telco or VoIP experience.
• Familiarity with SIP and XMPP protocols.
• Experience with JavaScript and NodeJS.
• Experience managing Jenkins or CI pipelines.
