IT Service Delivery Manager (Travel Insurance)

Location: Barcelona, with hybrid work options; availability to work in Barcelona is required.

What you will do

• Lead a team of approximately 15 internal and external professionals, defining team organisation, roles, objectives, and responsibilities.
• Coach Tech Leads and Scrum Masters; lead recruitment, team development, and performance follow-up.
• Manage an annual team budget of approximately €1M and relationships with suppliers, contractors, software providers, and IT service partners.
• Manage products and applications across their lifecycle, from business needs and development through production, support, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate business, IT, offshore, and technology stakeholders; define solutions, resources, technologies, architecture decisions, APIs, and delivery plans.
• Monitor production issues, service performance, business KPIs, quality, budget, stability, and prepare analysis and recommendations for delivery decisions.

Requirements

• Senior experience as an IT Lead, IT Manager, Application Manager, Product Manager, or IT Delivery Manager.
• Strong experience in software delivery and technical project management.
• Proven experience leading technical teams in Agile environments, with experience in Scrum, Kanban, or similar delivery frameworks.
• Technical background in software engineering, application management, architecture, DevOps, or infrastructure.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers, contractors, external providers, and teams of 15 or more, including recruitment and performance follow-up.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in international organisations.
• Knowledge of insurance business processes, preferably Travel Insurance, and understanding of Travel Claims and Assistance processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required; Spanish is listed as a required language.
