Architect Principal, Cybersecurity (AI)

What you will do

• Design secure architectures and reusable reference patterns for infrastructure, products, and solutions using AI agents.
• Lead threat modelling and security design reviews for AI features, recommending practical fixes before launch.
• Review agent identity verification, data and tool access, approval workflows, and activity recording.
• Create security standards and controls for engineering and product teams.
• Track emerging AI threats and frameworks while mentoring cybersecurity architects and engineers.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience, including senior or principal architect work designing secure systems for large, complex organisations.
• Hands-on experience securing AI and large language model systems against prompt injection, data leakage, excessive access, and unsafe tool use.
• Strong knowledge of identity, access control, data protection, approvals, monitoring, and logging for AI agents.
• Experience with agent frameworks or protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), LangChain, or similar tools.
• Ability to create practical security patterns aligned with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, OWASP Top 10 for Large Language Model Applications, and ISO/IEC 42001.
• Relevant certification such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, or a cloud security architecture certification.

Nice to have

• Experience designing secure cloud infrastructure in AWS or Microsoft Azure, including identity federation, least-privilege access, network segmentation, secrets management, and data protection.
• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Knowledge of AI laws and governance requirements, including the EU AI Act, and experience translating them into practical design controls.
