Consulting Analyst (Fintech)

Salary: €32,900–€54,050; the range may include potential sales incentive payments. Additional bonus and equity eligibility may apply.

What you will do

• Apply analytical and data science solutions to business challenges for clients in payments, financial institutions, and related sectors.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate end-to-end projects with cross-functional teams.
• Translate analytics outputs into actionable recommendations and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support business development, portfolio optimization, product launches, and customer loyalty strategies.
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary and multicultural environments and adapt communication to different audiences.
• Use emerging technologies, including Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, in everyday work.

Requirements

• Experience applying solutions to business problems in analytics, business consulting, product ownership, or data science.
• Background in payments, financial institutions, consumer lending, risk management, portfolio management, corporate payments, retail and merchant business, or digital projects.
• Experience managing team and client expectations, deliverables, and end-to-end projects with diverse cross-functional teams.
• Agile experience is mandatory.
• Experience working with extremely large data sets.
• Ability to translate analytics outputs into actionable recommendations.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, including Hadoop, Hive/SQL, and Apache Spark.

Nice to have

• Prior consulting or product management experience.
• Experience with a top-tier bank or financial services practice of a top-tier consulting firm, combining regional and global experience.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Experience creating reproducible analytic pipelines with Python and R.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or GitHub.
• Data visualization experience with Tableau, Power BI, or R/Python.
