Senior Systems Administrator (Linux/Cloud)

What you will do

• Administer and maintain Linux servers, including Debian, Ubuntu, and CentOS, along with DNS, web servers, VPNs, PBX systems, and Nextcloud.
• Manage virtualization environments, including virtual machine provisioning, backups, migrations, and lifecycle maintenance.
• Administer Hetzner and AWS cloud infrastructure and maintain LAN/WAN networks, VLANs, routing, firewalls, routers, and VPN connections.
• Monitor systems, logs, and security events using Grafana and Prometheus; configure alerts and identify infrastructure risks proactively.
• Maintain backup and recovery solutions, contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning, and support infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
• Automate administration tasks, resolve complex infrastructure incidents, coordinate with internal departments and service providers, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure, or a comparable role.
• Strong practical knowledge of Linux server administration and maintenance.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, preferably Proxmox.
• Experience configuring and managing MikroTik routers, firewalls, and network security rules.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience with Bash and Python scripting and automation; PowerShell knowledge is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Windows Server administration and related services.
