Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Player Safety)

Location: Office-based in Saint-Mandé, France

What you will do

• Design, train, deploy, and monitor machine learning models for player safety and security, including NLP, anomaly detection, and graph-based learning use cases.
• Adapt state-of-the-art deep learning, NLP, graph learning, and LLM research to production constraints, implementing solutions from scratch when needed.
• Own projects end to end by collaborating with stakeholders, defining success metrics, monitoring live systems, and iterating on results.
• Write, optimize, test, document, and ship scalable code using modern MLOps practices such as CI/CD, model versioning, and observability.
• Collaborate with data and software engineers to deliver models and prediction pipelines to internal or public cloud infrastructures.

Requirements

• Strong Python software engineering skills, including clean code, testing, documentation, and CI/CD.
• Proven experience deploying and monitoring production machine learning models, including MLOps, model serving, and drift monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with NLP and LLMs, including transformer fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG, or LLM-based pipelines.
• Knowledge of anomaly detection or fraud, trust, and safety systems in a production context.
• Experience with distributed data processing using Spark and cloud data platforms.
• Strong communication skills; English is mandatory for presentations, cross-team collaboration, and reporting.
• Experience with token classification such as NER or sequence labelling and/or hands-on GNN training, including node classification, link prediction, or graph construction pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with graph-based machine learning and Graph Neural Networks.
• Familiarity with Databricks, including DAB and Delta Live Tables, or Azure-specific services.
