Managing Editor, Kuala Lampur Transcript (Medical Publishing)

What you will do

• Oversee content development for the Asia region, partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and Editorial teams in the Philippines, Indonesia, and China.
• Develop ancillary products around the PLE for the Philippines and UKMPPD for Indonesia, including review courses, Q&A materials, and supporting products.
• Create product and localization roadmaps by identifying gaps against Indonesian and Philippine curricula and defining regional product requirements.
• Conduct focus groups and meetings with faculty, deans, administrators, and other stakeholders to assess market needs and identify subject-matter experts.
• Manage assigned projects from focus groups through proof-of-concept validation and execute market expansion initiatives targeting leading schools across Asia.
• Contract and manage authors, support project execution, and travel with Sales representatives to develop author leads.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required.
• 4+ years of experience in editorial content development and/or acquisitions, preferably in medical publishing.
• Experience in digital content development, product management, publishing for global markets, and managing multiple projects.
• Knowledge of digital platforms and digital product development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of AI and its implementation for content creation.
• Strong analysis, product development, management, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated contract negotiation and implementation skills.
• Strong project management skills, including cross-departmental collaboration.
