What you will do

• Define nuclear and radiological safety evaluation standards.
• Develop frameworks for handling sensitive technical information and establish security risk escalation protocols.
• Evaluate nuclear risk assessments and nonproliferation safeguards.
• Review and validate nuclear safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with technical and security experts.
• Document compliance procedures and security best practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in nuclear physics, radiological safety, nonproliferation, or nuclear safeguards.
• Advanced degree, professional certification, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of international nuclear safeguards and nonproliferation frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in security evaluations, compliance, and risk assessments.

Nice to have

• Experience with government agencies, national laboratories, or regulatory bodies.
