AI Engineer

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote. Office locations: Louisville, KY; Boston, MA; New York, NY; Dallas, TX; Tampa, FL; Washington, DC (Arlington, VA).

Salary: $97,900–$133,500 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design and develop responsible generative AI solutions using Python, machine learning, and large language models.
• Build autonomous AI agents with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI to support reasoning and decision-making in healthcare.
• Integrate AI into enterprise systems and workflows, partnering with business stakeholders to develop scalable, reliable, and compliant solutions.
• Collaborate with MLOps, DevOps, engineering, product, data science, and business teams to deploy and maintain production AI models.
• Develop advanced machine learning models and algorithms, large-scale data science initiatives, and robust monitoring capabilities.
• Create reports, projections, models, and presentations for business stakeholders and use AI coding assistants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of applicable experience, or a master’s degree and 1 or more year of experience, preferably developing production-ready AI solutions.
• Experience with agentic AI system design and collaboration with MLOps and DevOps teams.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and data analysis or data mining tools.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience building or working with high-performance, large-scale machine learning systems.
• Experience with language modeling using transformers and with large-scale ETL.
