AEO/SEO Content Writer (Fintech)

Location: United States (Remote); remote-friendly (US).

Salary: $95K–$150K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Write blog posts and landing page copy for banking, credit building, credit cards, investing, crypto, and rewards.
• Turn keyword research and search-intent briefs into outlines and polished, publishable content.
• Build conversion-focused landing pages with clear value propositions, scannable structure, and effective calls to action.
• Partner with SEO, growth, and the external SEO agency to identify content gaps and prioritize topics by traffic and business impact.
• Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure content is accurate and approved before publication.
• Refresh content based on search performance, product changes, regulations, analytics, and SEO-tool insights.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an SEO or content writer, with a published portfolio that performs in search.
• Experience writing for a fintech, bank, credit union, or other regulated financial company, including compliance review cycles and direct collaboration with Legal and Compliance.
• Strong on-page SEO skills, including keyword research, search intent, internal linking, metadata, and content structure.
• Fluency with Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, and a modern CMS.
• Ability to write conversion-focused landing pages as well as SEO-driven blog content while preserving voice and clarity.
• High editorial accuracy with numbers, terms, and disclosures; ability to explain credit building, investing basics, BNPL, and rewards clearly.
• Curiosity about AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, plus willingness to partner with PR on on-brand, review-ready LinkedIn copy.
• Drive and proactivity in a fast-moving builder and executor environment.
