Senior C++/Java Software Engineer (Tashkent/on-site)

What you will do

• Maintain software products for the digital audio and video media market.
• Resolve issues identified by QA teams and end users.
• Develop advanced media software tools, including cross-platform delivery with web and mobile tools.
• Work with standard-compliant video streaming, workflow modeling, SOA and REST web services.
• Collaborate directly with customer teams within a large Scrum-based development group.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Good knowledge of C++ and at least basic knowledge of Java.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of programming principles, data structures, object-oriented programming, and algorithmic problem-solving.
• Good understanding of client-server application principles, network applications, and protocols.
• Development experience in Windows using VS2019, VS2025, MFC, and WinAPI.
• Experience designing multi-threaded applications.
• Intermediate or higher spoken and written technical English.

Nice to have

• Experience with the gRPC library.
• Experience with relational and non-relational DBMS and ORM frameworks.
• Knowledge of Python and web development technologies, including web services.
• Experience with VirtualBox, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Scrum or Agile methodology.
• Competence in digital media.
• Fluent English.
