Senior Software Engineer, Bio - FE/Web (React)

Location: Portugal - Field; hybrid or remote eligible. Other location: London, United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Deliver front-end experiences with product designers, product managers, and engineers using React and architectural frameworks.
• Prototype and iterate polished solutions supporting multiple devices and browsers while meeting accessibility standards.
• Improve continuous-delivery reliability and safety through test automation and the GitLab CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in retrospectives and feedback to strengthen psychological safety, inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Guide and mentor engineers, manage technical debt, plan refactors, and improve engineering practices.

Requirements

• Experience as a senior front-end engineer.
• Strong understanding of React and other architectural frameworks.
• Ability to build robust, polished experiences across multiple devices and browsers.
• Understanding of accessibility standards.
• Experience contributing to test automation and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
