Big Data Engineer for Cybersecurity and Anti-fraud

Location: Hybrid in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain, or Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain; includes up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

hirify.global is expanding its Data & Analytics teams to support strategic financial-sector projects in cybersecurity and fraud prevention.

What you will do

• Develop data engineering solutions for fraud prevention and risk detection in the financial sector.
• Design, develop, and maintain batch and real-time streaming data processes.
• Integrate data from SIEM platforms and build data models.
• Participate in migration and deployment activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Data & Analytics and cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements

• Background and interest in data engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, and fraud prevention.
• Knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of batch and streaming data processing.
• Knowledge of Airflow, TWS, and ODI.
• Knowledge of XSOAR and XSIAM.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and fraud prevention environments.
• English level B2.

Nice to have

• Experience in the financial services sector.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.
• Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning.
• Cloud, cybersecurity, or fraud prevention certifications, including CISSP or ACFE.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
