Internship at Internal Audit at ING Belgium - Wholesale and Business Banking

ING Corporate Audit Services is an international audit organisation with approximately 20 audit teams and around 400 members worldwide; the Belgian team conducts and coordinates audits within ING Belgium.

What you will do

• Participate in audits across Wholesale Banking and Business Banking domains in ING Belgium and other ING locations.
• Develop an understanding of audited businesses, end-to-end processes, inherent risks, regulatory requirements, and ING control frameworks.
• Assess whether key risks are adequately mitigated and whether key controls are designed appropriately and implemented effectively.
• Participate in walkthroughs, stakeholder meetings, and data analytics activities.
• Discuss identified issues with relevant stakeholders, manage expectations, and agree on findings.
• Document fieldwork results and evidence in TeamMate+ and contribute to findings, recommendations, and audit reports within agreed timelines.
