Reference Data Management - Data Analyst

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid working.

Salary: Ft13 120 000,00–Ft19 680 000,00 per year.

What you will do

• Maintain commercial codelists in Informatica MDM, including values, definitions, mappings, and hierarchies.
• Query and profile reference data with SQL, run quality checks, and identify duplicates and inconsistencies.
• Translate needs from Data Owners, Data Stewards, and stakeholders into data and codelist requirements.
• Analyse RDM-to-Snowflake views, data shares, synchronization, and refresh processes, assessing downstream impacts.
• Coordinate changes from request through go-live, including UAT planning, validation, approvals, and post-deployment confirmation.
• Support Power BI refreshes, synchronization, first-line troubleshooting, access requests, Jira tracking, and risk escalation.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in reference data, master data, or data governance.
• Strong SQL and data profiling skills, with understanding of data flows, data quality, integration, ETL, and MDM concepts.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and basic Power BI.
• Ability to assess data-change impacts, dependencies, and risks, identify root causes, work independently, and provide clear recommendations.
• Clear communication, ownership from request to delivery, and effective collaboration with global stakeholders in an Agile setup.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience.
• Experience with RDM/MDM platforms, especially Informatica MDM.
