Senior Software Engineer (React Native)

Location: 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716, United States; onsite

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Design software solutions, architecture, distributed systems, scalable components, disaster recovery approaches, and non-functional requirements.
• Convert high-level designs into detailed module designs, user stories, functional logic, and traceable requirements.
• Develop React Native applications and supporting Node.js components using appropriate languages, frameworks, tools, and cloud platforms.
• Build automation scripts and CI/CD processes, implement telemetry, and apply security requirements.
• Prepare and execute tests, analyze root causes and defects, perform regression testing, and troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks.
• Track project delivery against approved milestones and timelines while coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in software engineering or related experience.
• Experience with React Native, including components, APIs, and lifecycle methods.
• Experience with JavaScript ES6+, asynchronous and functional programming, event-driven architecture, and the Node.js runtime.
• Experience developing for iOS and Android, including development environments, SDKs, and platform capabilities.
• Experience with Redux, RESTful API integration, React Native Debugger, Jest unit testing, and Git.
• Experience optimizing React Native performance, including render times, memory usage, and network requests.
• Experience implementing error handling, resilience, high availability, and Node.js security practices including input validation, authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools and with CI/CD pipelines for Node.js build, test, and deployment automation.
• Any amount of experience with the required skills will be accepted.
