Affiliate Strategist

Location: New York City, United States; fully remote environment.

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and execute affiliate marketing strategies and tactical plans aligned with client objectives.
• Manage affiliate programs across recruitment, activation, optimization, compliance, creative development, and reporting.
• Analyze program data, identify growth opportunities and performance issues, and improve outcomes through analytics-driven decisions.
• Recruit affiliates, negotiate partnerships and placements, and maintain relationships with publishers.
• Act as a primary client contact, lead weekly client calls, and manage follow-up communications.
• Build long-term affiliate marketing strategies that support sustainable growth, brand visibility, and high-impact partnerships.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in online marketing or e-commerce, including significant affiliate marketing experience in an in-house, agency, publisher, or network role.
• Proven track record of executing successful affiliate marketing campaigns.
• Deep knowledge of major affiliate networks, including Impact Radius, Rakuten Marketing, and Commission Junction.
• Experience with affiliate recruitment, fraud management, relationship-building, daily program operations, budget management, and analytics.
• Demonstrated success analyzing data and using analytics tools to guide marketing decisions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time across clients, partner relationships, and internal initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with external and internal teams.
