Jr. Computational Engineer (Scientific Computing)

What you will do

• Develop, implement, analyze, and optimize numerical models representing real-world physical systems.
• Apply multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations to engineering and physics-based problems.
• Support simulation and analysis of physical systems and validate results using analytical methods, data analysis, and experimental or reference data.
• Write clean, reproducible code and automate workflows with Bash/Shell scripting.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and researchers on research, prototyping, and system design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of ordinary and partial differential equations, multivariable calculus, and linear algebra.
• Experience with one or more of Python, Julia, MATLAB, or Mathematica.
• Ability to perform rigorous analytical thinking and interpret technical data.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Nice to have

• Coursework or project experience in computational physics, numerical methods, or scientific computing.
• Exposure to electrodynamics, signal processing, or computational modeling of physical systems.
• Familiarity with open-source intelligence tools or data-mining techniques.
• Internship or research experience in modeling, simulation, or programming.
