Staff Fullstack Developer (AI)

What you will do

• Define front-end architecture, technical strategy, standards, best practices, and shared design systems for scalable UI platforms.
• Lead back-end development, API architecture, third-party integrations, database design, and performance optimization across relational and NoSQL systems.
• Drive security, scalability, reliability, monitoring, observability, and production engineering practices.
• Design and integrate AI services, including LLM APIs, streaming, tool and function calling, multi-step agent flows, and RAG patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, communicate architectural tradeoffs, and lead code reviews and design discussions.
• Establish engineering standards, make architectural decisions, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including leadership of complex full-stack initiatives.
• Deep proficiency in React or Angular, with strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills; experience with Next.js is relevant.
• Strong experience with state management, modern CSS frameworks, build tooling, and polished accessible UI development with design partners and tools such as Figma.
• Strong back-end development and API architecture experience with Node.js or Python.
• Strong testing practices across unit, integration, and UI testing.
• Deep expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, caching, and query optimization.
• Strong experience with microservices, event-driven systems, message queues, cloud platforms, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience integrating AI services into production full-stack systems, including LLM APIs, streaming, tool and function calling, multi-step agent flows, and RAG patterns.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder communication, expert day-to-day use of Claude and Cursor, and the ability to solve ambiguous technical and business challenges.
