Real Estate Property Tax Manager (SALT)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA; the role includes on-site client property inspections, hearings, and travel requirements.

Salary: $117,100–$155,200 in Atlanta, GA; $105,900–$140,400 in Tampa, FL.

What you will do

• Provide real and personal property tax analysis, consulting, compliance, and appeal services.
• Manage client relationships, Statements of Work, reporting, invoicing, collections, and overall client satisfaction.
• Conduct on-site inspections, present findings and recommendations, and communicate with assessors and tax officials.
• Attend hearings and work with tax officials to achieve maximum tax savings for clients.
• Maintain accurate Appeal Track records covering recommendations, valuations, tax rates, and supporting documentation.
• Support business development, cross-selling, client opportunities, and Analyst development.

Requirements

• Four-year degree required.
• CPA, Law License/JD, or CMI required.
• Strong knowledge of real and personal property tax laws, regulations, and court decisions.
• Ability to research complex tax issues and manage property tax appeals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, assessors, tax officials, and internal teams.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in property tax consulting.
• 5 years of professional experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Appropriate professional certifications.
• Ability to meet the travel requirements of the job.
