Senior iOS Engineer (Swift)

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus. Office-based four days per week with flexible start and finish times, plus one remote day of choice. Relocation support is available, including visa sponsorship and an allowance.

Salary: from €5,500 net per month.

What you will do

• Build and ship new features in the iOS app using Swift, owning them from technical design through release and further development.
• Design clean, modular, testable code and help evolve the application architecture.
• Build polished, responsive interfaces and animations aligned with design standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Improve app performance, stability, test coverage, and production monitoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional native iOS development experience, including recent work building user-facing production apps.
• In-depth knowledge of Swift, ARC, GCD and Swift Concurrency, and the UIKit rendering and layout model.
• Ability to structure solutions, choose appropriate abstraction levels, and clearly explain trade-offs.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1) or higher, with the ability to debate technical trade-offs with peers.

Nice to have

• Swift 6, structured concurrency, and reactive programming with Combine, RxSwift, or ReactiveSwift.
• The Composable Architecture or other unidirectional data flow architectures, dependency injection, modular apps, and architectural refactoring or migration experience.
• Automated testing, crash reduction, performance optimization, offline support, or production monitoring.
• CI/CD, build tooling, release automation, code generation, or internal developer tools, including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Fastlane, or Tuist.
• Experience building and launching a new app or major product area from scratch.
