Binance Accelerator Program – AI Infra Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, or Taiwan. Remote-first, work-from-home arrangement; availability may vary depending on the role and team.

What you will do

• Secure large-scale production cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud, including multi-account environments, CI/CD pipelines, and artifact pipelines.
• Use LLM-driven agents for reconnaissance, attack-path discovery, proof-of-concept generation, false-positive triage, and AI-powered penetration testing.
• Benchmark AI-driven findings against human-led assessments and improve detection accuracy and coverage using validated results.
• Detect critical CVEs, cloud misconfigurations, suspicious activity, and potential threats across diverse systems, generating actionable remediation recommendations and alerts.
• Assess LLM applications, AI agents, and MCP servers for prompt injection, jailbreaks, tool misuse, data exfiltration, and privilege escalation.
• Build security controls and CI-based regression testing for models, prompts, and tools, including least-privilege permissions, sandboxing, filtering, approvals, and audit logging.

Requirements

• Currently majoring in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform among AWS, GCP, or Azure, with personal deployment experience.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs and coding agents in projects and applying them to at least one security task, such as code review, reconnaissance, or vulnerability analysis.
• Hands-on AI/ML experience or experience with prompt injection or jailbreaks against LLM applications through internships, work, research projects, or competitions.
• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies, including LLMs, agents, and deep learning, together with practical experience applying AI to real problems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical rigour, and the ability to work on ambiguous, adversarial problems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, including the ability to explain technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to commit to an internship of at least 6 months is preferred, with consistent weekly hours.

Nice to have

• Exposure to secrets management, SBOM/software supply chain security, and vulnerability scanning.
• Current enrolment in a Master's or PhD programme at a QS World University Rankings Top 50 university.
• Cloud infrastructure security experience, including Linux and container security, network security, HIDS, WAF, or IAM.
• CVEs, bug bounty awards, or strong CTF results.
• Experience building AI-driven security tooling for reconnaissance, vulnerability discovery, or triage.
• Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications, and MITRE ATLAS.
