(Spring Internship) Automation Intern (AI): Developing automated workflows, computer-use automation, robotic arm integrations, and simulation-based validation for engineering and testing tasks with an accent on AI tools, robotics, and maintainable software. Focus on designing automation platforms, validating robotic motion and simulation concepts, and improving testing efficiency through collaborative code development.
Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; hybrid work model. Spring internship period: March 1, 2027 – June 30, 2027.

What you will do
- Design and implement computer-use automation solutions using AI tools to simulate user interactions, automate repetitive operational tasks, verify system behavior, and improve testing efficiency.
- Develop and integrate robotic arm automation methods and validate their accuracy and underlying concepts.
- Use simulation environments to verify automation concepts and workflows.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and validation of automation systems.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of next-generation automation platforms.
Requirements
- Experience using AI tools to support software development or test automation workflows.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- B.S., M.S., or current studies in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI or LLM-based tools for computer-use scenarios, including user-interface navigation and repetitive task automation.
- Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS 2) for robotic arm control, including basic motion commands and system-level integration.
- Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim for robotics simulation.
- Familiarity with Linux scripting.
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
