What you will do

• Define and maintain the target architecture and transition roadmap for shared data, knowledge and platform services.
• Establish reusable patterns for data ingestion, processing, storage, event streaming, APIs, integrations and workflow orchestration.
• Guide architecture across relational, document, time-series, graph, vector and unstructured data systems.
• Define enterprise ontologies, semantic models, knowledge graph architectures, metadata standards, lineage and knowledge-asset lifecycle controls.
• Shape enterprise search, semantic discovery, contextual retrieval and AI-ready knowledge services that connect data, knowledge, search and workflows.
• Provide technical guidance, architectural decision records and reference architectures while mentoring engineers and architects and collaborating across product, engineering, infrastructure and architecture teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience in software engineering, data platforms or distributed systems, including senior architecture or platform leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to design and evolve enterprise-grade, multi-tenant or SaaS platform architectures.
• Strong knowledge of distributed, event-driven and API-based systems, including data pipelines, messaging, storage and integration patterns.
• Experience with enterprise data architecture and at least one of the following: knowledge graphs and ontologies, enterprise search, semantic platforms or workflow orchestration.
• Strong understanding of governance, security, lifecycle management, observability, scalability, reliability and access control.
• Ability to communicate complex architectural choices clearly and influence decisions across product and engineering teams.

• Enterprise ontology, taxonomy, semantic modelling, metadata management or knowledge graph implementation.
• Keyword, semantic, hybrid or vector-based enterprise search and retrieval architectures.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector databases, AI agents or knowledge-retrieval architectures.
• Workflow and orchestration platforms, event-streaming technologies and graph databases.
• Digital twins, industrial information models, operational technology data or Industrial AI platforms.
• Modern web and service architectures, including TypeScript or Node.js environments.
