Senior Consolidation Accountant (Traveltech)

Location: Hybrid in Prague, Czech Republic; work from home up to 2 days per week depending on team needs. Flex-location allows up to 30 days per year working from any location in the world.

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements for the hirify.global Group, including disclosures under corporate financial statement policies.
• Coordinate monthly closing and consolidation activities, including balance sheet analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reports for senior management and the Board.
• Prepare audit reconciliations, supporting documentation, and group audit schedules for external auditors.
• Coordinate with regional accounting teams, business unit finance, and corporate finance on subsidiary ledger reconciliations and accounting treatments.
• Support project accounting, including coding, revenue recognition, accruals, deferrals, asset tracking, amortization schedules, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience as a Consolidation Accountant in an accounting environment, preferably in a medium to large international company or international auditing firm.
• Experience assisting with closing processes, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements, and related disclosures.
• Experience working across regions and business units and supporting external audits.
• Experience preparing monthly and quarterly reports for a Corporate Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and Board.
• Experience accounting for complex transactions such as pensions, share-based payments, equity reconciliations, and transfer pricing.
• Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP.
• Strong analytical capabilities, ability to manage multiple tasks, deliver within required timelines, and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• PC proficiency, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Oracle or an equivalent financial system.
• University degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.

Nice to have

• Working experience with Power Query or Power BI.
• Working knowledge of Hyperion or an equivalent reporting system.
• Partly or fully qualified accounting professional, such as CPA or ACCA.
